About This Service
The Value of Local Stock
When a machine is down or a project is waiting, long lead times for material are costly. Local stock gives you a faster route to the metals and plastics you need. MECH TECH ENGINEERS EQUIPMENTS TRADING LLC keeps a wide range of engineering materials in our Musaffah, Abu Dhabi base, so that customers can order smaller quantities when they need them rather than carrying large inventories of their own. This supports maintenance teams, workshops and project contractors alike.
What We Hold
Our stock covers ferrous metals such as stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, tool steel, cast iron and chrome bar, along with non-ferrous metals including aluminium, brass, bronze, copper, lead and zinc, and engineering plastics such as nylon, HDPE and PVC. Perforated sheet is also available. Availability varies by grade and size and changes as material is sold and replenished, so please contact us to confirm the current position before you place an order.
Organised Storage and Traceability
Different metals must be stored with care. Stainless steel should be kept away from carbon steel to avoid contamination, while bright bars and chrome bar need protection from moisture and damage. Plastics should be kept flat and out of direct sun. Organised storage makes it easier to identify each grade and size, to keep material in good condition and to reduce the risk of mix-ups. Clear identification of material helps to make sure that you receive exactly the grade you ordered.
Ordering From Stock
Contact us with the grade, form, size and quantity that you need, and we will confirm whether it is available. If it is, we can arrange collection from our Musaffah location or dispatch to your site. For items that are not in stock, we will advise on alternatives or lead times so that you can plan accordingly. Regular customers and projects are welcome to discuss recurring requirements, which helps us to keep the right materials on hand.

Handling Special Materials
Some materials need extra care in storage. Chrome bar must be kept free from scratches and moisture, tool steels should be protected from rust, lead sheet should be stored flat and supported, and plastics should be kept away from heat and sunlight. By storing each material according to its needs, we help to make sure that it reaches you in good condition and ready for machining, fabrication or installation.
